FleXyber Solutions, LLC.: Simplifying the Document Filing Process
This case study focused on designing a program to assist General Aviation pilots, or hobby pilots in filing international travel documents. By simplifying the submission process, creating an automated submission system, and eliminating repetitive entries, this program is designed to alleviate stress and allow pilots to easily cross borders internationally.
Shir Tikvah: A Design Strategy for the Future
This case study focused on a multi-touchpoint Design Strategy for the changing organizational structure of the Shir Tikvah Congregation. With a new executive director, changing location, and synagogue staffing changes, the goal of this study was to take all of those changes and develop a design strategy around all of the touchpoints where they connect to the congregants.
Branch: Scheduling For the Hourly Employee
This case study was focused around Branch, a mobile scheduling app that serves the hourly employee. Through Branch, users can input their schedules, swap shifts, and even request a pay advance on their paycheck for hours worked. the goal of this study was to determine pain points around the current features and delve into potential future features.
ResponseGen: Streamlining Patent Attorney Case Responses
This case study was about evaluating a current tool for Patent Attorneys to streamline their Action Item response documents. Through a cognitive walkthrough, contextual inquiry and findings report and plan, I created recommendations to the client surrounding altering the current functionality and adding some additional features that will clarify the process.
GaardOne: Mission Based Design Strategy
This case study was around creating a multi-touchpoint design strategy for Gaard One, a mission oriented outdoor gear company. the mission of Gaard One is a 1:1 model. For every $1 spent by the customers, Gaard one donates to conserve 1 square foot of land at local Minnesota land conservancies. Through group planning we developed a strategy to enhance and implement 4 touchpoints.
Float Website User Testing
This case study sought to evaluate the website of Float, a peer-to-peer market sharing website to connect boat owners and renters together on the lakes of Minnesota. Through heuristics, remote testing and in-lab testing, our team sought to evaluate the information around a peer-to-peer website and discover opportunities for improving the functionality of the site.
